Parents are also encouraged to assist with school activities such as functions, mending, and transportation for outings. You are warmly invited to attend all meetings and the fun social events listed on the term plan, including our annual fundraiser.
This event, now known as the Clivia Family Fair, has grown from the much-loved Clivia Pre-Primary Classic Walk, which was held almost every year since it's inception in 2005 at the Pietermaritzburg Botanical Gardens and remains an important part of our school's history.
The Clivia Family Fair is a community market hosted on the school premises, offering small businesses the opportunity to host stalls in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. With the playground open for children and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day, it is a celebration of connection, community and shared enjoyment.
Whole group and one-on-one
Among our special events organized for our learners, are various outings, fun dress-up themed days, shows and educational visitors to our school.
Outings are arranged by the school and will require consent to be signed. Parents are kindly encouraged to assist with transport. All the children must please be buckled-up. The cost of excursions is also included in the school fees.
